Little bit of info ‘bout Io:

Name: Iolite (Goes by Io)

Gender: Technically doesn’t have one.

Preferred pronouns: Typically goes by female ones because of her voice, but doesn’t mind male ones.

Height: 5′6″ (a little taller than Amethyst, but shorter than Pearl.)

Sexual Orientation: Bisexual

Romantic Orientation: Prefers males.

Weapon: Cane sword. The sheath is made from ironwood and it has a large crimson orb on the end that can transform into a grip and guard. The blade is made from reinforced silver. Tends to carry it in the open since it’s a bit difficult to draw it from her gem because of it’s location. Able to charge the blade with electricity.

Likes: Break-dancing, Traveling, Rock music, Storms, Reading comics, Sour food.

 Dislikes: Arguments, Injuries, Overly sweet food, Arrogant people, French people (long story), extreme temperatures, people insulting her accent.

Talents: Can control electricity and storms, can master any weapon she lays her hands on within minutes, understands a vast number of languages, extremely acrobatic.

Personality: Laid back, confidant, cocky, easily angered, swears like a sailor, secretly has panic attacks quite often. Garnet and Io’s supposedly deceased partner Boul (Boulder Opal) are the only one who knows.

Hobbies: Learning about pop culture from Steven, Practicing her singing, Training with the Gems, Watching Gravity Falls (got obsessed with the show, it was Steven’s fault)

Extra facts: Essentially sounds like a ambiguous version of Crashboombanger’s Crosshairs. Listen to this and you’ll understand what I mean. Because of her accent, she’s not a very good singer and hates when people mock her about it. Oddly enough, she’s not jealous of the other Gem’s voices, just angry at herself for not being as good.
